Hurtu was a french maker of bicycles and in later years cars and motorcycles. They were based in Albert, in the Somme district.
This wonderful original safety with double tubes is a Hurtu. It still has its name badge, just like the one on the later model Hurtu on my site.
I suppose this bicycle, which I photographed in Karlsruhe summer 2017, is the same one as sold by Robert Sterba.
